Dead end. Pusing balik

Yes, I've been through a rough patch.

But who shall separate me from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or stress, or poverty
Or robbery, or deceit, or rage
Or madness?

Yet in all these things
I am made more than a conqueror
through Him who loved me.

For I am persuaded that neither
dread of death nor fear of living
nor angels nor powers who put a curse on me
nor principalities nor the authorities over me
nor my enemies who rejoice over me
nor things that has happened nor things that may never happen
nor heights of madness nor depths of depression
nor any other created thing that lives around me
shall be able to separate me from the love of God
which is in Christ Jesus my Lord.

During that rough patch, I have found
Grace sufficient enough
To strengthen my resolve

The detour has ended
It's time to go back.

The camel's back is back

Why?

I got hit by the straw that broke the camel's back.

When?

Last Friday.

What?

Paranoid delusional.

Now?

I'm back.

Then?

Got this:

RM67. With Borders gift card, got it at RM47. Found a way to work off my agression.
Schoolkids, don't mess with me. Next time, when I chase you, I WILL catch you.
Robbers, take my lousy mountain bike if you want. I'm getting a big kahuna, and I'm keeping it in my room.
Tuition centers, work me with more classes? I work for you no more.
Government spies, you can't catch me in tuition centers. I quit.
School admin, force me again. And I'll force you back with a 1-week leave.
Car workshop crooks, trying to eat into my compensation money? You won't get a cent. Lose my car, and I'll see you in court.
Deceptiproton salesman, waiting for me to give you under the counter money? Keep the scrap metal car. I want it no more.
Housemate, misbehave again. And you're out on the streets.
There you go. All the straws. No more on my back.

I've come to think that...

...when it comes to blogs, friends read it. Foes read it. Strangers read it. All kinds of creatures read it.

The moment there is a chance, anyone can use the information against you.

I believe every human being has the right to personal security. Even if it means taking preemptive action.

I shall blog no more.

After 3 years... Resurrection!

This is my old blog, resurrected. Mai luan chu seh is back!

This was the original name of my first blog. I closed it down to start hastenministries.blogspot.com. But as I evaluate it, I realized that the standard I've set is too high.

Look at my blog title and header:

He who has ears, let him hear?

May all who hear be enriched, edified, and encouraged?

God help me to be true to His Word, and to my own words?

If it's not pompous, then it's pretentious. If it's not pretentious, then its expectation is unrealistic.

I thought it better to revert back to my original blog. With a new look.

Why mai luan chu seh?

For the less informed, it means "don't simply shoot" in Hokkien.

Once, a friend of a friend was playing an aircraft simulator game. Wywy Wonderspace, above Sunshine Square (It's no longer there already). He was simply using his ammo. He claimed the machine said "Mai luan chu seh! Mai luan chu seh!" Wow! Gaming technology had automatic mutli-lingual functions, even from back then? You mean, when you sit on the machine, it can know if you know Hokkien? Cool!

That same friend's sister also sang in a church choir during one Christmas. During her solo part, she sang "my life to save..." But it sounded like "maaai luan choo seh..."

Yah. And so, Mai Luan Chu Seh is back.
